IMS Networking Meeting 2025
About the Program
The IMS Networking Meeting 2025 was held on December 19, 2025. This year marked the first gathering since BDR officially joined IMS, and the event was rebranded from the former “IMS Year-End Party” to the “IMS Networking Meeting,” reflecting our aim to create a broader and more inclusive space for interaction.
A total of 266 adults and 12 children attended, making the event lively and highly engaging. The venue featured food booths operated by volunteer laboratories alongside catered dishes, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening. To support participants with young children, a dedicated kids’ room was also prepared, allowing families to join the event comfortably and enjoy the gathering without concern.
The program began with opening remarks by Dr. Eisuke Nishida, Executive Director of Science. In addition, Dr. Sakurada and Dr. Ito from the new groups that joined IMS delivered speeches introducing their teams and expressing their hopes for future collaboration within the institute. Their messages highlighted the significance of this transitional year and the growing sense of unity across IMS.
Overall, the 2025 meeting successfully fostered meaningful connections and strengthened our community, leaving participants with a renewed sense of engagement as we move into the coming year.
